The Lisa Project in 10

The Lisa Project in 10 is a unique multi-sensory exhibit experience allowing the visitor to hear, see, and experience the reality of the world of child abuse. Through audio narration from a child’s perspective, visitors are guided room by room through scenarios depicting abuse. This experience is fully immersing each guest into the world that these children face on a daily basis.

We Can Exhibit

As a supportive, caring adult, you can help a child or family to overcome the effects of trauma. This interactive exhibit, helps guests to identify steps to support children and families- through supporting a family under stress, promoting self-care, and building protective factors. We can all make a difference. We can work to end child abuse and neglect.

Many children and adults living in our area have experienced trauma. These experiences negatively impact hundreds of things across the lifespan. Yet, adversity does not have to be destiny. Fortunately, there are strategies to help buffer the negative effects of trauma. Together we can make a difference. Together we can lessen and heal the effects of trauma in the life of a child or adult. And you can be the one to help create this strong and supportive community.
